Behavior Modification Training
4+ weeks at the Fidelio Studio

This behavioral modification program is intended to assist dogs and their owners with socialization and behavior modification. The behavior modification covered may include the areas of anxiety, object socialization, people socialization, and confidence building, as well as field trips for real-world distraction work, and animal/people-related aggression. Our goal is to assist you with solutions not only to specific problems but holistically as well, to help de-burden your dog. This allows for better learning and outcomes because your dog will have a greater understanding of our world and what is expected of him/her.

During this program, your dog will stay in residence at the Fidelio Training Studio for 28 days and our certified professional trainers will teach your dog the following on-leash commands: HEEL with Automatic-SIT, SIT and DOWN at your side, SIT and DOWN in motion, SIT and DOWN from the front, STAY, PLACE, and COME. Your dog will be taught to respond to both verbal commands and hand signals. Your dog will also participate in behavior modification, socialization therapy, and confidence building. The end result of this program is the modification of problematic behaviors and a greater understanding of your dog.

During your three private follow-up lessons at Fidelio, you will be taught proper leash-handling techniques and how to use each of the commands; there will be an emphasis on diversifying your dog's commands, working around distractions, and advice on handling unwanted behaviors. You and your dog will receive behavior modification, socialization therapy, and/or confidence-building assistance.

All three of the included private follow-up lessons must be completed within 60 days after the final date of residency training unless approval is received from your trainer. Upon completing your private follow-up lessons and with approval from your trainer, you may be eligible to participate in our group lessons. In these group sessions, you and your dog will participate in exercises that have a heavy emphasis on real-world distractions and situations.
